Business License: All persons conducting businesses in the Town of Stephens City are required to have a current business license.
Certificate of Appropriateness: If your property is in the Stephens City Historic District and you are planning to demolish, construct, "add onto", move an existing building, repair or alter, construct a fence or make significant changes to landscaping you must first obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) from the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC).
Owner Authorization for Water and Sewer Service: In order to start a new water and sewer account with the Town, all renters are required to have owner authorization form prior to set up of account. (Owner Authorization forms should accompany the Water and Sewer Application in person when setting up your account. On special circumstances, should you need to get the form in by fax or e-mail please contact the Town Office first to determine who the form should be sent to.)
Parks and Recreation Application for Facility Use: In order to utilize any Stephens City Parks and Recreation Facility an application must be submitted with reservation fee and approved by Town staff.
Water and Sewer Application: In order to start a new water and sewer account with the Town, all residents on public utilities must have an application on file with the Town Administration.
